올해는 중국과 아세안(ASEAN) 협력관계 수립 30주년이 되는 해다.

10일, 제18회 중국-ASEAN 엑스포와 중국-ASEAN 비즈니스 및 투자 정상회의가 중국 남부의 광시 좡족 자치구의 성도인 난닝에서 열렸다. 이날 회의에서 공동의 미래를 가진 긴밀한 중국-ASEAN 커뮤니티 구축이 강조됐다.

중국 아세안 상생 협력은 다양한 분야에서 11개국 20억 명이 넘는 사람들에게 혜택을 주고 있다.

올해 박람회는 '새로운 육지-해상 협력이 창출한 기회 공유, 공유된 미래를 가진 중국-ASEAN 공동체 구축'을 주제로 중국과 아세안 간의 무역, 경제 및 기타 분야에서 전면적인 협력을 심화하고 높은 수준의 대화 플랫폼으로 강화한다.

중국과 아세안 간의 교역액은 1991년 80억 달러 미만에서 2020년 6846억 달러로 급증하여 80배 이상 증가했다고 중국 공식 데이터가 밝혔다. 양측은 지난해 서로의 최대 교역 파트너가 됐다.

한편 태국은 올해 6월 7일부터 전국적인 대규모 코로나19 백신 예방접종 프로그램을 시작했다. 주태국 중국대사관 자료에 따르면 올해 2월 24일 태국에서 발주한 중국의 시노박 백신 1차 배치가 태국에 도착한 이후 중국은 19개 배치의 백신을 태국에 전달했다.

중국과 아세안 간의 인적 교류도 강화되어 COVID-19 전염병이 발생하기 전인 2019년에는 인적 교류가 6500만 명을 넘어섰다.

양측은 20만명 이상의 학생을 교환했으며 200쌍 이상의 자매 도시를 형성했다.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of dialogue relations between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

On Friday, the 18th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit kicked off in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, highlighting the building of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.

Sustained win-win cooperation has been achieved to benefit over 2 billion people in 11 countries in various areas.

Themed "Sharing opportunities created by the new land-sea corridor, building the China-ASEAN community with a shared future," this year's expo aims to deepen all-round cooperation in trade, economy, and other fields between China and ASEAN and consolidate the high-level dialogue platform.

Trade volumes between China and ASEAN skyrocketed from less than 8 billion U.S. dollars in 1991 to 684.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2020, increasing over 80 times, China's official data said.

The two sides became each other's largest trading partners last year.

Thailand has launched a national large-scale COVID-19 vaccine vaccination program since June 7th this year.

According to the data of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, since the first batch of China's Sinovac vaccine ordered by Thailand arrived in Thailand on February 24 this year, China has delivered 19 batches of vaccines to Thailand.

People-to-people exchanges between China and ASEAN have also strengthened, with personnel exchanges exceeding 65 million in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two sides have exchanged over 200,000 students and formed more than 200 pairs of sister cities.
